As we observe Patriot Day, let us reflect on those who passed away on 9/11 and those who continue to fight for our freedom. Those brave men and women are the reason we are able to be free in this country and live a life of choice and a pursuit of happiness. 9/11 hits home for us at AKD Law.

Our founding partner, Rico Alvendia, recently retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the US Army Reserve JAG Corps. His story is a true testament to his sense of duty and justice. Every experience he had as a JAG officer is put into each case that comes through the door.

That strong dedication to justice is what makes AKD Law so successful. AKD Law recognizes that a big thank you goes to every service member and public servant for keeping this country and community safe.
