Kurt Offner

After graduating from LSU Law School in 2002, Kurt returned home to New Orleans and began his career as a prosecutor with the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office where he gained significant trial experience. Thereafter, Kurt worked for a prominent New Orleans insurance defense firm and for a national insurance company defending trucking companies and insurance claims.

Now Kurt represents clients in complex civil litigations that have suffered catastrophic injuries or have had their homes or businesses destroyed by hurricanes or destructive weather events. Mr. Offner has tried numerous jury trials in State and Federal Courts in the State of Louisiana and as far away as Los Angeles, California. Kurt has successfully settled, mediated, or brought to verdict numerous multi-million-dollar cases.

Kurt is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association, Texas Bar Association, Jefferson Bar Association, Louisiana Association for Justice, and American Association for Justice. Mr. Offner has been recognized by Super Lawyers and is a member of The National Association of Distinguished Counsel Nation’s Top Attorneys Top One Percent.

When Kurt is not practicing law, he tries to spend as much time as possible with his wife Amanda and his two sons, Christian and Evan. Kurt enjoys hunting, fishing, playing and listening to music and is a nationally ranked U.S. Masters Swimmer. Mr. Offner is a Parishioner with St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church in Metairie, Louisiana and a longtime member of St. Catherine’s Men’s Club.
